Since 2014, SPL has attained triple certification through SAI Global for Safety (45001: 2018), Quality (9001:2015) and Environmental (14001:2015) Management systems making it the first privately owned laundry in Australia to achieve this status.
ENVIRONMENT & SUSTAINABILITY IMPACT
SPL continuously explores, evaluates, and invests in innovative technology, equipment, and processes to minimise its carbon footprint and water usage.
One such initiative is the implementation of Ecolab’s Blue Ocean Technology. In doing so, SPL are rethinking the way the industry uses water to help protect this vital resource. Since the roll out across our national laundry facilities, SPL has saved more than 2 billion litres of water, reduced chemical usage and heat required in the laundering process.

Our business has developed and grown over the years. At SPL we pride ourselves on securing and utilising the latest and most efficient machinery. Over the last five years, SPL has built four brand new state-of-the-art plants across Australia, expanding our business to 9 fully operational facilities and 13 remote distribution centres. This includes new facilities in Perth WA, Adelaide SA, Broadmeadows in Melbourne, and Bankstown, Sydney.
